Symphony for a Child founder Sirima Jayasekera with specialist doctors and nurses pictured below at the official opening of Children's HIV unit, on May 14th 2009. The unit was founded in memory of Sirima Jayasekera's late husband Brighty Jayasekera.
Chulani Jayasinghe was Deaf and Dumb and needed a Cochlear Implant. The operation was performed when she was Six years old.
She is now Twelve years old, able to hear and is undergoing speech therapy.
